Join us for a Movember WOD to bring awareness to Men’s health! On Friday November 30th, during our regular class schedule, CrossFit 520 will be doing a WOD for a cause! The Movember Foundation is a multinational charity that aims to raise awareness for men’s health. The foundation encourages men to grow moustaches during the month of November. It focuses on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and healthy lifestyles. From November 1-November 30 you will be able to donate towards Movember Foundation at https://us.movember.com WOD: “Movember Cowboys” by Paradiso CrossFit 3 Rounds For Time: 10 Handstand Pushups 20 Hang Squat Cleans 3 Rope Climbs *Every movement is scalable for any fitness level. Make 2019 the year you say “new year, new me” and actually mean it! We wanted to give ample notice of the start date of this challenge so no one misses out this year! Mark your calendars because this year’s challenge will be unlike any other! Join us for a nutrition lecture on Saturday, January 19th at 9:30am to kick start our 3 month challenge. Attendance of the lecture is required for participation in the challenge!!! This year we will have a few options of ways to follow along with this challenge! Your $50 registration fee will cover the lecture, and 3 month challenge, PLUS 2 InBody Composition tests! This year we will also offer an optional meal prep package for challenge participants! We will have a couple different meal plan options hand picked by our nutrition coach! This challenge will cover more than just the basics! We will dive into how to create and build healthy habits, and how to apply them to our daily life. We will discuss more than just food, diving into lifestyle habits as well! This will definitely be our best challenge yet! So we hope to see you there! We will give you all the tools you need to your “new me”, it’s up to you how you will use them in 2019!!! *prizes TBA
