What is your CrossFit story?
I first heard about CrossFit while in a big box gym during college. I looked up at the TV in between my sets of bicep curls and saw the CrossFit games. I was immediately intrigued by the sport and joined my nearest box later that week. After a couple years of doing CrossFit I began competing and had the privilege of competing at regionals. I continue to do CrossFit for fun today and I coach at CrossFit 520 in my hometown of Tucson Arizona.
What is your favorite part about coaching?
My favorite part about coaching is spending time with the athletes and having a chance to positively impact their day.
What's your favorite movement?
My favorite movement is the clean and jerk.

Any advice for beginners?
Find someone to train with that pushes you and likes to have fun. Friendly competition can go a long way in bringing out the best in your training.
